Vinyasa Flow is a challenging, yet joyful, practice combining breath work and asana to purify the body of physical and emotional toxins. The class is designed for all levels of practitioners, utilizing strength, flexibility, and balance through a continuous sequence of energizing postures. Learn to breathe throughout a yoga practice. Focus on core strength, deepening flexibility through a series of balancing, opening, and aligning poses. Become present, find clarity, and learn techniques for relaxation to carry with you anytime.
Gentle Vinyasa: Inner Serenity
Monday 6 - 7:00PM
Balance your emotions and renew the connection to peace in your heart. Release long held tension and fear with gentle hip openers, lunges, and deep back bends. This class realigns the body through postures and mudras (hand postures) that ground and allow you to flow with tranquility through life’s currents. Open to all levels.
Trauma Sensitive / Informed Yoga

Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TSY) or Trauma Informed Yoga (TIY) is designed to heal you from your more painful experiences. The slow movements, rhythmic soothing music, deliberate exercises and poses in this class are designed to address various unique reactions to trauma present in our neurobiology and energy fields. Ivor has 12 years of experience providing and serving Victims of Violent Crimes with the City of Boston Streetworker Program, St. Francis House Homeless Shelter and Impact Model Mugging.
Healflow (Beginner Friendly)

This class focuses on healing the body through the poses of Vinyasa Yoga. We offer adjustments to each pose customized to the needs, trauma and physical condition of each student. Exercise and heal.
This class is suitable for all levels from beginner to instructor.
Restorative Yoga (Beginner Friendly)

This class is designed to relieve the stress of school and work, or to help with pain from injury and disease through application of the relaxation response. In low light with soft sounds, students hold poses with the aid of multiple blocks, bolsters, and props to adopt stillness and activate the immune system. All skill levels from beginner to advanced are welcome. All poses are performed in repose.
Yoga for Athletes

This class is designed to reduce injuries in the feet, ankles, calves, shins, knees, thighs, hips, and lower back caused by running. Ivor Edmonds developed Track Team Yoga at MIT during the 2015-2016 Track and Field season under the direction of Coach Taylor.
Thursday 7:15 - 8:15PM
The practice of Forrest Yoga emphasizes breath, strength, integrity, and spirit to cultivate personal empowerment. Drawing on traditional Hatha asanas, Ana Forrest developed the style to promote personal and communal healing. Active awareness of your breath becomes a guide toward healing. Postures are held longer to build strength, to encourage safe alignment, and to develop an internal focus. The room is heated to 80-85 degrees. Class is taught with significant attention to modifications, making the class suitable for students of all levels and abilities.

Flying Tiger Qi Gong is a martial art, healing art, and internal art. Students practice the following exercises to master Qi (unified energy field):
- Deep Slow Abdominal Breathing
- Small Heavenly Circle - Seated Meditation
- Large Heavenly Circle - Standing Meditation
- Swimming Dragon - Dynamic Figure-8 Movements
- Oxygenating the Brain & Diaphragm Pump
- Soaring Dragon - Internal Organ Massage
- 6 Healing Sounds - Vocal Internal Organ Isometrics
- Circuit of the Red Dragon for Digestive Health
- Culture Massage - for the Head, Neck, and Face
These nine exercises are completed in one continuous sequence, performed with grace and precision.
All Qi Gong exercises are performed sitting in a chair or standing. The are no salutations or supplications. There is no kneeling, bowing, nor exercises performed on the ground. Qi Gong is performed fully clothed, please bring clean comfortable footwear if you prefer shoes. This class is suitable for members of Orthodox Jewish and Muslim communities.
